About Me
—
I'm Vida Yap, Marriage and Family Therapist Associate of EMPS Resilience Therapy, LLC.
EMPS reflects my belief in caring for the whole person—Emotional, Mental, Physical, and Spiritual. These parts of ourselves are deeply connected, and therapy can help strengthen resilience across each of them.
I provide therapy for individuals, couples, and families throughout Hawaii and Oregon, offering a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where healing can begin. Therapy can be a place to understand the patterns that have been weighing on you, strengthen your relationships and connection with yourself, and develop tools to move through life with greater clarity, confidence, and resilience.

I integrate evidence-based approaches, mindfulness-based practices, and other therapeutic modalities to create a path that honors your experience while supporting your growth, healing, and emotional well-being.
“
Because every
person's story is unique,
I tailor therapy to your
individual needs.
